Not sure what you need Efatha, or how sophisticated you are already. A few basic hints:
(1) Don't have heavy loadings on the first page (use lowsource GIFS or equivalent). Have links to bigger pages. This is netiquette rule 1. People will get fed up waiting. not everyone -- especially in your business -- has the latest and fastest.
(2) Make sure your internal links work, and that each page that comes up gives people the option to return to the first page. This is netiquette rule 2.
(3) Keep it simple and reliable.
(4) Test your site after it is up with a different computer somewhere else. You will probably find that the colour resolution is wrong, or the pages are too wide for the screen, or something.
(4) Ask Max. This is one of the best sites on the Web -- it is clean, clear, and reliable. That is the main reason why there are lots of people here, though charm helps.
