Funny, Kendall! I've driven in a few major cities including Boston, and I don't wanna do it again.
Peg, if it were me, I'd buy a camping ticket now just so I could drive into the camping area because it's a royal pain to schlepp a tent in piece by piece in a backpack. If you're riding with Kendall, that shouldn't be a problem though.
"Family" areas (ones where families get a whole square to themeselves) can put up an extra (small) kid's tent. I don't know how much room is available for single campers since we're in bits of those squares. I have to buy a new tent as the old one's a bit leaky. Also, if I can't park my 4-wheeled closet at my space, I'm gonna have to have a bigger tent than I usually have. In any case, I'm in spot 116.
I doubt it's possible for them to go back to the California Gold Rush style of finding a spot. The new assigned-space thing is coming from the NY State Health Department.
