Good to see you again, Herma! (Not to mention Letty, Eric, Greg, Pat & Richard, and Andreas, and all those Mudcatters I met for the first time this year.) Me and the goat's cheese got home in under four hours, to find that the cat had used my absence to roll in wet plaster (or something) and his fur was white in inappropriate places ... What a mess!
Anyway, if you think Saturday was wonderful you don't know what you were missing the next morning: rising late to the truly marvellous hospitality Letty's parents extended to us at their home in Assen. The brunch prepared for us by Letty's mother and her friend was sheer delight! Just when we thought it was time for a little music in the sun-drenched back garden the soup was served. (Of course, this did nothing to stop the music ...)
Hope all of you have got home safely so far, and the Yorkshire, Munich and Friedberg (Hessen) contingents will, in time.
