I'm quite sure that you think I watch Al Jazeera and believe every word. Not so. Al Jazeera is this-a-way and Fox News Channel is that-a-way. Equally propagandistic. No, I get my news from a wide variety of sources, including American news services. Then I sift and make up my own mind.

I've worked in the broadcast media, part of that time as a news reporter and part of that time as a news director, so I'm used to ferreting out what's real, what's unreliable, and what's just plain BS. I'm quite sure you would like to think of me as naïve, but 'taint so. There's nothing quite like having been in the media to know how it operates.
