wolfgang, so sorry to re-iterate a topic so old-hat...i'm still
getting used to how mudcat works. forgive me. i know
you guys like people to abide by the rules and keep things
interesting. nevertheless, this was a great help to me,
especially as i've not yet encountered a vrsion of this ballad
in which the keeper of the pig is a "witch-woman"...if that ain't
a goddess symbol i don't know what is. yay. if anyone knows any history on "bob porter" that would also be lovely.
