Barry: Nope. You misread my message. I have never questioned the right of anyone to express their opinion of anything. I might not agree with it, but it is their opinion, and is as good as mine.

Don: Good post. The reason I posed the question is I had heard that some of the leaders of the Democratic Party were concerned that there was not a liberal counterpoint to Limbaugh, and they hoped to find someone to fill the bill. I haven't heard anything about it recently though. I watched Donohue several times and I think the problem he had was he tried to use the same format with his new show that was so successful back in the 70s. It just didn't work. I would have thought that Cuomo would have been a good possibility but for some reason that just didn't work out. I never heard him when he had his own show, but I think he is an excellent spokesperson for the liberal point of view. I agree that Buckley and Goldwater were good spokespersons for the conservative POV. Goldwater is gone, of course, and I rarely hear anything about Buckley.
