I ran into some funny regulations for shipping household goods. Of course you cannot ship anything flamable, that's just common sense. But you also cannot ship candles. I am sending a pickup truck to Guam with a hard shell tonneau cover but I cannot put anything in the truck, either in the back or the cab.

And for personal transportation I need a passport because my flight will go through Japan however my regular tourist passport is not acceptable. I need an official "no fee" Government passport. And in this day of overwhelming fear and paranoia that would be like carrying a sign saying "I am a representative of the oppressors. Kill me!"
