Ardmore is on I-35 right across the border an hour north from a very populace region of Texas. I suppose they could have gone to Shreveport--Ugg. It's a shorter drive to Oklahoma from Austin, and Ardmore is probably kind of pretty this time of year.

They wouldn't let me have one of those decks--I'm a Democrat. The decks are for Repbulican's who want to snigger up their sleeves and copy the Bush administration's skill at sleight-of-hand.

Molly Ivins hasn't run a column since Sunday. I am SURE she'll have something sharp to say about all of this!
