Kiwi - where in New Jersey are you? Dick and I go to the Princeton Folk Music Society (first Friday, but not summer) and Dick Levine's group in Monmouth/Ocean counties (time varies). Both move from house to house (sometimes mine). There are Folk Project and Folk Music Society of Northern New Jersey up north as well as Pinewoods in NY. I can probably dig up some more if I know where you are looking for. There are several more.
