I'm in the Deep South, in northwest Florida, aka Lower Alabama. We have 8 acres of woods that we've left pretty much uncleared except for a 1 acre fish pond and about 1 acre of garden plots including 50 4' X 8' raised beds for biodynamic/French intensive organic vegetable gardening.
