Rick, re: Shambles comment about avoiding intimidating new folks, and your question about how to do that, I think it would be helpful to have a Forum "MudFAQ" with a link right up there at the top of the page. A new person could get a whole lot of "need to know" info with one click. I actually started working on something, but I got hung up in the HTML stuff and haven't gotten very far since.
