No penalty ! Full pension and some cash for sick & vacation days. Without prying any further, if the big ticket items like house, vehicle, whatever, are paid for, take the money and run. Another career, part-time job, travel... it's a big world and you're still young enough to make an adventure out of what you choose to do or not to do.

Another thing to look at.... compare your take-home working to your take-home pension. Divide the difference by annual working days. Do you feel it's worth it to work for that amount or could there be an alternative that would you might enjoy more ?
