If it were me, I'd retire. Hell, I DID that. My pension isn't much and I work part of the year in a job that doesn't pay very well, but I enjoy every other aspect. I like the control I have over my own time.

If it were the new, improved INTELLIGENT me, I'd probably apply for one of the higher paying jobs and stick it out for three years. Who knows - I might even LIKE it!

One important thing you haven't factored in is what you WANT to do! Do you like any of the jobs offered? Do you like working full-time? Can you enjoy life with a lower amount of 'positive cash flow'? Is there something you always wanted to do, but didn't have the time? With this last thing, I'm thinking of people I've known who've put together music programs for schools and such, based on their expertise, or folks who've started their own businesses. Make a lists of positives and negatives. The may help you make up your mind.
