I heard Rush Limburger say today that it was his and like-minded people's goal to eradicate Liberals. Now, I don't think that he meant that any body who didn't care if their tax money was used to help others in need were to be stuffed in gas chambers, but he certainly felt that any such "nonsense" should be stamped out.
I couldn't really get the jist of where he was going after that az he gets to wandering in and out of his bag of clichés but it got me wondering how it had come to this.

• If you don't mind giving money to poor people or developing programs to help them become self sufficient, then you are a fool.
  
• Anyone who enjoys natural beauty and would like to save it for future people is thinking wrongly.
  
• If you get pissed because you work your ass off and yore taxes get used to chase after bad guys who always seem to get away you not only think wrongly, you are unpatriotic and therefore Godless.
  
• If you want school children to get a good education in standard subjects, and have a decent fine arts program in public schools, you are wasteful and beneath contempt.
  
• And if you entertain a notion that wealthy successful people and corporations should pay more for the priviledge of harvesting money and doing business in the United States you are a Liberal and scarcely sentient.
  

Somebody tell me when exhibiting elements of advanced human-ness became so undesirable to people in high places? And why are they afraid of those qualities? I am not a smart man.
