But the really competent thieves and law breakers are rich. That's how they got to be rich, and that's how they stay rich. And historically that is how a lot of rich people who currently are not classed as thieves got to be rich in the first place.

And by and large I don't think those people are liberals in any sense, even in the strange one used by Americans.
