fiddlers companion is the best starting point.

I know the reel but had not come accross a (slip) jig by that name. From Fiddlers Companion we get:

GREEN GATES, THE [2]. AKA and see "The Barony Jig," "The Fisherman's Jig," "Redican's Mother," "Trealock Lauder." Irish, Slip Jig. D Major. Standard. Usually known as "Redican's Mother." Green Linnet SIF 1119, Cherish the Ladies - "The Back Door."
