Naw, Rick, but she did clean up everything that Sandy didn't eat, including the better half of a piece of Peanut Butter pie. Sandy and I both swore off cholesterol for 2 weeks prior to meeting so we could order chicken fried steak covered with gravy, mashed spuds and gravy, green beans cooked with bacon, carrots and peas. When it came time for dessert, Caroline calls the waitress over and says, "These two want dessert". She then tells Sandy what he wants and she will just have a bite. Sandy gets about halfway through and she says, "Are you going to finish that?". I started to chuckle and she fixes me with a look and says, "Well I can't let it go to waste". I chuckled again. She is one of the all time great people I have ever met, and so is Sandy. I can see exactly why you have adopted them as parents, Rick.

We talked about everything from The Fair Alison to singing in accents, to stories of our families and past, to politics, to the weather. And they spoke very fondly of you, Rick. And 'Spaw, you already know what Sandy said about you. You are both special to these people.
