NO,NO,NO --- Not the paddles!!!

A couple of years ago after the bypass, I developed an atrial fibrilation which was fixed by a new technique called Cardiac Ablation. They map all the electrical impulses in a cardiac cath type procedure, then use a laser to burn away the unwanted ones. It took about 5 hours and you're in and out because at times they want you to respond and at other times they want you out. Two pads are attached (paddles) all the time because during the process your heart is often put in life threatening rhythms and they need to "ZAP" it. This happened 5 times during mine (my friend Wayne was assisting/observing) and they always want you OUT for the zaps. Well.....I was out for four.....Seems they had a little miscommunication shall we say.....

I AIN'T NEVER FELT NOTHIN' LIKE THAT IN MY WHOLE FRIGGIN' LIFE!!!!!!!!!! Like a 600 volt baseball bat to the chest!!!

NO PADDLES KAT------I'll think pure thoughts and things to keep my mind off elsewhere....like Rick bending over backwards ... NO PADDLES!!!!
