Well, since this is totally un-musically related BS, I will just jump in with my own question -- if I can get Duane to get off the mirror for a minute:

I live out in the country, under the bright, bright Wyoming sky, and I've decided to get myself my very own telescope in a few weeks. I'm a complete beginner, but am very interested. We have a little planetarium here and I read the "Night Skies" column we have in the newspaper. I've also seen the NORTHERN LIGHTS several times since moving up here -- and they're so amazing. Just amazing!

So, any suggestions out there for a cheap, yet good, beginner's telescope?
