I disagree, Mmario. True separation of church and state means that NO taxpayer/federal funds go toward any kind of promotion of religious activity.

Religious organizations who choose to do charity work should, however, be able to provide services which are not faith-based, and receive federal/state assistance for that portion of their work. And that includes who you hire to do the work.
