Friend of a friend went for her ultrasound and was asked if they wanted to know the sex. They said yes, OK, and the technician turned the monitor towards them and said 'here we are, it's a boy, and we know it's a boy because he is in fact, masturbating.'

We weren't given the option (so many pregnant women in my area suffer 'accidents' if they know they are having a girl) so Bratling was a suprise, although, having a C-section (medical grounds, not just too posh to push), we could see what she was before we saw her face - it was the first bit of her that saw daylight. She was head up, legs stretched out (rather than flexed in) and with her back to my back.... every awkward way a baby could be except possibly sideways.
