Here it is, after six in the evening. I've been back since yesterday afternoon and even read the music threads this morning, while getting caught up (trying) on e-mail and snail mail that's been piling up for two weeks while I was in Milwaukee. Hadn't even made it as far as the BS threads as I had woken up with a headache (and my body, I think, still at 70 miles an hour) which didn't want to give up the ghost, so I took a handful of ibuprofen (I've told you a million times not to exaggerate!) early this afternoon and curled up with the cats to take a nap.

The nap helped, I think, and the messages and wishes definitely did! (And if I clear some of the stuff I'm unpacking off the table, I might even have a place to eat that lobster -- too rainy to desecrate the dead body out on the deck.)

No, no, Spaw -- those bats have been trained to fly YOUR way with more birthday greetings for you! (They're just practicing with mine.)
