Not a problem but something I find curious. When I boot up, the autoexec.bat runs twice - I can tell because I have various deltree commands to keep the aging and under-resources beast tidy.
It goes through autoexec and brings up the Windows background then kicks into it again before finally loading. I suspect there's a call to the bat file in something that loads in the background but I haven't got a clue what that could be - or whether it can be removed if I can find it.
Any clever soul (hey it's the 'cat, bound to be!) who can satisfy my curiosity?
