It's fate. Destiny. Serendipity. I ceased wondering long ago how I and only I could be the chosen one who receives letters from princes, government officials, bereaved widows, and other such people in a variety of distant countries who want to share millions and millions of dollars with me and only me. I am just one lucky guy, that's all there is to it. God loves me and wants to see me get filthy rich.

Matter of fact, I have become so blase about it at this point that I don't even respond unless it's a sum of at least $50 million that is offered me.

I mean, hell, you can only buy so many gold bathtubs and the thrill wears off, eh?
