Easy-Jet aren't the cheapest, and as somebody else has said, the published fare isn't what you'll pay.

Some of the promotional ofers are fantastic - I flew to Pisa with Ryan Air last year for £1.00 (plus airport & security tax it came to £15).

I fly to Athens three or four times a year and have found the best deals through lastminute.com. You will get scheduled flights with all the service, a bit more leg-room etc, and they have ALWAYS been cheaper than Easy Jet.

Another alternative is to but flights only from the charter companies. I know that Excel and Brittannia have an on-line facility for buying tickets on charter flights and unlike the last minute package holiday firms who also offer FO, you can usuall work out travel for periods of other than a week or a fortnight.
