Funnily enough, at Jagz last night Sam Kelly's new band Primo Blu opened with guitarist TJ Johnson singing that very song. Sorry, I didn't transcribe it!
Despite the title and the blues credentials of Sam (who's played with everyone including Sonny Black, Papa George and Glenn Headley)and TJ, the band played mostly soul clasics which Herself would have loved if she'd come with me (that'll larn 'er)sung by an excellent young singer, Loretta something (like a skinny Ruby Turner),who Sam met while he was playing in the pit band for "125th Street".
