Try the Taybank in Dunkeld. Dunkeld is a very nice town on the road between Inverness and Edinburgh. I spent a pleasant evening last summer in the pub playing fiddle tunes. Apparently it has new owners now, but the concerts and sessions should continue.

Situated on the banks of the beautifull river Tay, it looks across the river to Birnam Hill, site of the ruins of King Duncan's Castle (made famous in William Shakespeare's "Macbeth"). Previously owned by local singer songwriter and composer, the internationally acclaimed Dougie MacLean and his wife Jennifer, The Taybank is now owned by Nigel and Beverley Large. Described as "Scotland's Musical Metting Place" it is a centre for Scottish Music and Culture with instrumental classes, concerts and spontaneous music sessions."
