Sounds like a wonderful space you've created. I was curious today about the neighborhood where a friend lives in New York City. I entered his zip code (10011) at Realtor.com and saw a few tiny courtyards that drove the co-op prices into megabucks. It doesn't take much outdoors space, particularly if it's as well designed like you describe, to really add value to a place. Especially in an urban setting.
