It was wonderful, even tho' I say so myself. I saw the last camper (one of over 500) off yesterday lunch time! Jan the Van is staying till Thursday, then she's off to Ashby-de-la-Zouche (what a fantastic name!)

I've had many, many positive comments from the town and shops and restaurants, pubs and cafes all had a ball.

Hopefully when all the bills are paid, it looks as if we broke even. Didn't need the Lottery Grant this year after all.

If you have any ideas about how I can improve it for next year, I really do want to hear them.

A magic moment for me?...watching my daughter in her new band, Mogforest, on the folk club stage. Watch out for them, they're going to be good. (Those who have seen Emma Heath will know how good they could be. It's her band)

Oh and another magic moment...watching the ducks playing chicken with the traffic between the Six Bells and the church!
