I'm familiar with a variant of this song that is credited to Gwendolynn Collins, wife of the late, great Albert Collins. She calls the song Gotta Be A Change or There's Gotta Be A Change. The verses fit a standard 12-bar blues medium-tempo chord structure. The brief bridge (in key of E) climbs and then drops along lines of E/E7/A/Bb/E-B7-E. I play this on guitar in "E" w/ capo on the second fret, i.e., F# and it works well as an alternating bass finger-picking tune.
