Dave, you may be gratified to know that I have still not managed to meet up with young Mr Larkin, despite best endeavours (on both parts!) over the weekend at the Mersey Maritime Fest.

I DID see a rather gorgeous shiny lobster in hotpants (who had male Shellbacks in a swoon) a couple of mermaids and an octopus... and two deepsea divers, but only on the Saturday. I presume none of these were you, Martin?
