Well I was sort of thinking Mid July - round about 19th? Anyone want to come and sit on a new patio and drink the fruits of Manitas' wine club?

Manitas - have you never heard of poetic license - the other bag was in the dining room for so long it seemed part of the furniture - I just simply forgot it wasn't there any more!

Tinker - I have pickaxe going spare if you want to borrow it...? Unless I decide to dig up the front garden as well................. It's been such a hard chore but I feel really rather good about myself that I've finally done it in spite of having a crappy year, crutches for 6 weeks, a dicky ticker indicator stuck to me (and wasn't THAT fun, digging with that on!!) and Bratling "helping"....

The two bricks and a paving slab step has been reduced to just the two bricks - the paving slab is now part of the garden extension. That means getting another bag of concrete and making a proper mould for a step.... damn, I knew there was something...... And to be perfectly honest, I didn't so much remove it as just... relocate it... Snowdon is now Kew.

Chocolate plants warmly welcomed, in fact, any plants really.... just let me get the lawn sorted first!
