Larkin, when I was editor of Folk London in the 70/80s, two of the organisers of a "very respectable" Folk Dance Club in Kent, informed me that they had permanently "Changed Partners". I also once went to a "very interesting" party given by some of the members of the, now sadly defunct, "Fighting Cocks", Kingston Folk Club - which is in your neck of the woods.
