Maybe it would cheer you up to read Gertrude Stein's libretto, " Four Saints in Three Acts, in which St. Teresa of Avila plays a pivotal part. It is silly, singing nonsense and meant to be lighthearted and gay. Gertrude said saints shouldn't do anything!!! harpgirl (with catholic tastes)
