My favorite 'yep that's life' cartoon is he Far Side cartoon of the paramecium's. In the top frame, they are all having a party with martini's and having a grand old time. On the bottom frame, the house is wrecked, the glasses broken and they are all mashed. The caption says, "Life on a microscrope slide."
