The abbreviated version in the DT, Under the title "Quilting Party," appears in "Heart Songs, Melodies of Days Gone By," published in 1909 by Chapple Pub. Co., for the World Syndicate Company, publishers of the "National Magazine." No author is cited.

This 518 page compilation was widely distributed. There was discussion of a second volume, but I don't believe that it was ever issued.
