2 Questions :-
A/. Who (Ah la "Brookfield") Who is buried under the patio.
B/. How mush sunlight does this pond have in Winter.
And a problem :-
The (sp) Anophales Mosquito was endemic - hence Malaria - to the Kent and Essex Marshes. (Just a Tad away from your Gaff) Seems to have died down in the last 50 years, but with Global Warming who knows, they may reapear.
With the warmer urban micro cilmate experienced in London is your poond deep enough to support a colony of "StickleBacks" - They should feed off the Mossie lavae - or better still a colony of "Guppies".
