Posts like yours improve my UK geography no end. Just had a wonderful hour wandering round Minch.. it's only 10 miles from Wotton-under-Edge, where one of my forbears possibly hails from.

i found the following on one site....

   Village centre hotel. Australian
   landlord has an extensive collection of
   sheep farming items in non-smoking bar.

That was 1995 - if the same landlord is there he could know some OZ shearing songs.
