Thanks Harry, but 1882 doen't bring up any nice round numbers for a celebration - or not until 2032 (150 years) which is a bit too long to wait! She died in 1954 - could we commemorate her next year? Apparently Danny MacLeod gave a talk at Lancaster this Easter, did anbody catch it?
There were a lot of "doom and gloom" songs! - did anybody keep a body count? At a conservative estimate we must have sung about nine or ten deaths and murders, four rapes/seductions, plus one or two illegitimate births.
What are the crime statistics like in Lymm since the singarounds started? Should I call in DI Francis Child to investigate?
