Just a note though! Some cats will and can attack rabbits. My cat who still lives with my parents (they grew too fond of him and I lost custody when I moved) is a seasoned hunter and regularly brings home rabbits. So, they can do it - much to our disgust, but they do live in the country and there's loads of the things around us.
