Tune it to standard open G banjo tuning. Use one of the CA-30 Korg tuners. Buy a capo. Now, here you go: 75% of the songs are in G or A. The rest are in B, Bb or D. And an occasional F.

However... learning G and A patterns will allow you to play 3 out of 4 songs. Capo at the second fret for A key songs. And with Fred, Laurie and me... G & A allows you more like 95%.
