The Russian who became known as the Poet of Thermodynamics has passed away; cause of death not yet reported according to the Washington Post.
Prigogine (1917–2003) was responsible for such wonderful titles as "From Being to Becoming: Time and Complexity in the Physical Sciences," "Order Out of Chaos" and "The End of Certainty: Time, Chaos and the New Laws of Nature."
