Hiberniacal ("heye-bern-EYE-ac-ul") is an adjective; hiberniac ("heye-BERN-i-ac") is someone in a hiberniacal state, i.e. someone possessing or affecting hiberniality. Native hiberniacs (i.e. the Irish) are okay, generally, but affected hiberniacs should be avoided, especially on St Patrick's Day.
