Some fellow in St. Johns Newfoundland decided to take a shortcut home from the local pub through the cemetery. He slipped and fell into an open grave. The soil up there is clay, so he couldn't climb out and he knew he'd have to wait until morning.
A little while later someone else took the same shortcut, and slipped into the same grave. He too tried to climb the slippery clay. Suddenly, the first guy tapped him on the shoulder and said, "You're never going to get out of here." He jumped out and ran home.
I'm not sure if the story's true, but it is funny.
