The word "natural" is used and misused for all kinds of marketing purposes. You don't know and can't find out what's really in a so-called natural hair product.

Poisonous mushrooms, poison ivy and cactus spines are all natural, are they not?

You're pregnant. You have much to lose and very little to gain by putting chemicals on your body.

My mother once tried a new brand of hair color. She did the patch test, and the test alone made her break out all over and swell up. She had to get steroids to return to normal. Her doctor told her that if she had just gone ahead and dyed her hair, it could have killed her. She notified the state government, and in subsequent visits to local stores, she saw that that product was gone from the shelves.

Was it a bad batch? Was it a strange new formula? Did she have a rare sensitivity? We don't know, and we never will.

In the meantime, see a stylist and see if you can't get a new hairstyle (cut and set) which will perk you up but not involve dyes, tints or chemicals.
