Just thought I'd come back on this - I got two CDs from their website - 'Folksongs & Tunes of the British Isles' and 'The Carnal & the Crane' (which is very Christmassy). I have to say I'm really pleased I did - both albums are brilliant, but it's hard to believe that the boisterous tunes are from the same people as some of the other tracks, which are full of really magic and complex musical harmonies. See what you mean, Crane Driver, about them sounding like whatever they want to. How come they're not more well known? Why're they not on at Festivals? I've seen Tim Laycock a number of times, but only on his own.
