Subject: RE: BS: Let's talk hair...
I can't remember if I kept mine dyed when I was pregnant, but I do remember trying henna, just once, and I never, ever used it again. It dried my hair out so badly it looked like matted straw. I'd had it done professionally and went back for months for free treatments to get it hydrated and to trim off the ends a little bit at a time.

I've let mine go natural for several years, now, but did try Loving Care's non-permanent, washes-out-in-a-few-weeks and it was fun for a bit, plus the washing out is so gradual one hardly notices.

How long is it, now? Long enough to try some different styles with combs, etc.? I agree with the others about the hormones kicking in and causing one to sometimes do something they will regret later PLUS they might also cause the chemicals to act in different ways than usual.

At the very least, treat yourself to a salon shampoo and style, just for fun. I go for a shampoo about once a month, just a shampoo and it feels so great just to have someone else do it for me!
