VoxFox - Tressy - the name sounds right - the doll I'm thinking of was about 18" tall, & 60's or 70s - what's the difference all these years later for someone who is famous for her bad memory? And my hair's not as long as I thought, it's more like 2 handwidths from my waist, phooey. Growing hair is sooo slow.

Beccy - buy up big in the bargin shops! - last night I added 2 pairs of $3 ear-rings to my jewellry collection from my local el-cheapo shop - a great place to browse looking for treasures including hair accessories. In my end of the world $2 or $3 can buy wonderful stuff I never knew I needed. Recently I bought a fancy scrunchie (decorative elastic thingie to hold up pony tails etc, in case you call them by another name). I bought it to use as a neck ruffle on a clown bear, but it would look lovely in hair.
