Beccy - here is a link with some good info on the safety of hair dye in pregnancy. It seems to say that if there is a risk it would probably be confined to the 1st trimester.

Even if you decide it is safe, make sure you do a strand test, as hair reacts differently in pregnancy to usual and lots of pregnant women have used their normal hair dye with unpredictable results!
