Factory, retail store... whichever! I love DMC threads. For some reason the variegated embroidery flosses are almost impossible to find, unless you buy them in the boxed set... which I did! I rarely do needlework anymore, but I still buy stuff for it... you know, for when I have that Copious Spare Time... ;-)
